Pi Day 5k

Oh my goodness!  I just found a Pi-Day 5k in Columbus!!

As a math teacher and runner, this race was made for me!  I am so excited about this...maybe even almost as excited about the Canton marathon in June!

And, yes, the race is 3.14 miles run the weekend before Pi Day (3/14).  The only thing that would make this better is if it was run ON 3/14 at 3:14pm!  :)  A girl can dream!

    I found your blog on Dailymile and I love it! I'm a science/math teacher in Columbus so I LOVE seeing the Pi Day race! I may have to do this for sure...if not only to get a t-shirt. :)

    Just found your post today--we coordinate the Pi Day race, so I hope you will join us this year (March 9, 2013)! And I totally agree...I cannot wait until the year 2015, which we hope will be the biggest Pi Day 5K event so far. Why? Well, March 14th is on a Saturday...so that would make it: 3.14.15 and if we start at 9am? Well, then we have 3.14159!! So excited for this year too! Thanks for the great post and your excitement about math!!
